Appointment of Clive Newitt and Agri-Nova Technology Ltd as Consultants
Eden Research plc, a leading UK agrochemical development company, is pleased to announce the appointment of both Clive Newitt as non-executive Director of Eden Research Europe Ltd, and Agri-Nova Technology Ltd (“Agri-Nova”), the commercial agri-business consultancy, as non-exclusive consultants to the Company.
Clive has been a Director of Agri-Nova since January 2003 and has over 30 years’ experience within the agrochemical business. He is a former chairman of the British Agrochemicals Association (BAA) PR committee, a role which he served between 1997 and 1999. He continues to be a member of the BAA Director General’s policy group.
Prior to joining Agri-Nova, Clive was Managing Director of Feinchemie (UK) Ltd where he was responsible for establishing a profitable and autonomous UK subsidiary of Feinchemie Schwebda GmbH, as well as recruiting, training and developing key technical support staff. Clive joined Feinchemie from Summit Agro Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, Japan where he was Head of Marketing and Product Acquisition.
Agri-Nova has been appointed to provide marketing and business development services to support the Company’s commercialisation strategy.
