Austrian Data Sharing Agreement

On 30th November 2007, Eden completed a regulatory data sharing agreement with LHS Institut fuer Hygieneforschung und Schaedlingsbekaempfung in Labor und Praxis, an Austrian research organisation. Under this agreement, LHS will pay Eden an initial fee of €30,000 for access to certain Physical, Chemical and Safety data generated as part of Eden’s regulatory submission. The data will be used to progress products that do not compete in Eden’s areas of activity. In due course a small task force of EU companies linked to LHS will also seek access to this data.

Tim Griffiths, Eden’s CEO explained that “This agreement, which is similar to many in the regulatory sector, will make a useful contribution towards Eden’s regulatory ongoing testing costs. The arrangement will be achieved without any risk of competition, by releasing basic data collected to meet regulatory requirements, to a group of specialist companies utilising one of our terpene ingredients in a niche market”.
