Eden Research plc ("Eden Research"), a leading UK agrochemical development company, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Clive Newitt to the newly created role of Marketing Director on the main board effective from 17th September 2007. Clive was previously a Non-Executive Director of Eden Research Europe Limited. Clive has over 30 years of experience in the agrochemical business. He is a former Chairman of the British Agrochemicals Association (BAA) public relations committee, a role in which he served between 1997 and 1999. He is Managing Director of Agri-Nova Technology Ltd, which is an agricultural consultancy business specialising in marketing and commercial development for clients in that field.
Eden Research also announces that Ian Turner, Finance Director, stepped down from the position of Finance Director for personal reasons on 17th September 2007. The Board would like to thank Ian for his contribution and wish him all the best for his future.
The company is pleased to announce that Alex Abrey has been appointed as Finance Director, with effect from 17th September 2007. Alex is a Chartered Certified Accountant with nine years experience in practice and industry, including being Chief Accountant to Eden for the past four years. He is also a Director of Ricewood Limited, a management consultancy business which provides financial and accountancy services to other companies and he is currently a director of a number of varied enterprises namely - Medical Waste Solutions Ltd, 3DM Research Ltd (an independent company limited by guarantee), Red Brick Nominees Ltd and Ricewood Ltd.

There are no further disclosures to be made under paragraph 18 of Appendix 1 of the Plus Rules for Issuers.
Milestone payments and royalty payments will be extended under the current agreement once marketing of the product commences in the new territories.
