Tackling Botrytis on Colombian cut flowers

Partnering with ANASAC, Eden will be looking to bring Mevalone to the Colombian cut flower market to prevent and treat outbreaks of Botrytis cinerea in ornamental crops. ANASAC's appointment as the Company's exclusive distribution partner in the region precedes a regulatory application to allow the specific use of Eden’s biofungicide product on cut flowers and other ornamental crops. Colombia is the world's second-largest exporter of cut flowers, and the market represents the nation's 6th largest export, with the US importing approximately $1.35 billion of the product annually.
