FOLIAR DISEASE CONTROL
Eden has a number of products to target diseases such as powdery mildew and downy mildew in development and has already gained regulatory approval for Mevalone® – a biofungicide targeting Botrytis, which is currently registered for use throughout the southern EU zone, Kenya and Australia.
PROTECTED GLASS HOUSE CROPS
In addition to providing effective disease prevention and control, the safety profile of Eden’s products means that they are well-suited to environments in which worker exposure can be relatively high.
SOIL PESTS
Parasitic nematode populations can cause considerable damage to over 2000 species of plant, many of which are high value vegetable crops and horticultural species. The financial cost of nematode damage for farmers, gardeners and owners of golf courses and sports fields is substantial.
Cedroz is Eden’s bio-nematicide and has already gained regulatory approval in a number of European countries, Mexico and Morocco.
POST-HARVEST APPLICATIONS
Shelf life extension, lack of pesticide residues and improved produce quality are key objectives in the high-value fruit and vegetable market. Eden’s Mevalone biofungicide has already received authorisation for use on pome fruits in France, to reduce post-harvest losses because of its favourable safety profile and lack of residues.
